Puppy Kindergarten
This is a program designed to teach puppies through play and positive motivation.
Your puppy will learn the art of socialization with other puppies and people;
and the commands to sit, wait, down, stay and come. You will receive information
on housetraining, health, and behavioral problem solving. Owners are encouraged
to participate in the AKC’s S.T.A.R. Puppy Program ™, which emphasizes responsible
dog ownership for the life of your dog.
Recommended ages: 8 weeks to 6 months
Required: Immunization and/or Vet clinic record
Equipment needed: Buckle collar, 6 foot leash, treats and a toy

Jump Start Obedience
A fun class for young dogs designed to continue socialization and further
learning of basic commands, with the addition of some basic agility skills
for physical coordination, confidence building and added enjoyment.
Recommended ages: 4 - 8 months
Equipment needed: Buckle collar, 6 foot leash and treats

Beginning Obedience - Level 1
This course is aimed at making your dog a good home companion you will be
proud to own. We teach you how to train your dog and to read his body language.
Your dog will learn the basic obedience commands: sit, stay, down, heel
and stand.
Recommended ages: 6 months and older

Beginning Obedience - Level 2
This class will be offered as needed to provide for additional training
for the young Beginner dogs who would benefit from time to master the fundamentals
and gain maturity.
Prerequisites: Beginning Obedience Level 1

Advanced Beginners Obedience
Obedience In this class you and your dog will continue to perfect the skills
you learned in Beginning Obedience. You will have the opportunity to work
toward the new AKC Beginner Novice (BN) title. You will also be introduced
to the AKC Canine Good Citizen™ Program (CGC) which will prepare your dog
to be well-mannered and confident in any social situation. CGC tests are
offered periodically.

Novice Obedience/Graduate Novice
This class is designed for people who wish to obtain an AKC Companion Dog
(CD) title, or for anyone who just wants to continue training with their
dog. You and your dog will learn to work together as a team while mastering
the exercises required for competition in Novice and Graduate Novice(GN).
Off-leash handling and dumbbell work will be introduced. The class emphasizes
control and confidence for both dog and handler.

Open Obedience
The Open class is ideal for those handlers who enjoy working with their
dogs, and welcome new challenges. You will learn retrieving, jumping, and
the drop on recall. If you desire the AKC Companion Dog Excellent (CDX)
title, this is the class for you.

Obedience Competition Foundation and Competitive Open/ Utility
These two classes are advanced training for dogs working toward
the Open(CDX) and Utility Dog (UD) titles. Here you will be taught the fine
points of showing and handling in the obedience ring. We will work on any
problems you are having in the show ring!

Rally Novice
A lively style of obedience on an obstacle course using signs and stations.
Rally is designed to promote a positive relationship between dog and handler.
All exercises are performed on-leash.

Rally Advanced/Excellent
A higher level of training using more complex signs and stations. This class
trains for off-leash competition.

Agility Foundation Class
The goal of this class is to create a solid working relationship with your
dog, and to teach skills that provide the basis for agility and all other
training. Appropriate for puppies and adult dogs.

Young handlers welcome!
Class size limited to 3-4 dogs
Beginning Agility
This class will provide the handler with the techniques and skills needed
to introduce their dog to agility. Dogs will be trained to follow the handler’s
body language and cues as they learn to work on agility equipment. You will
be taught the correct and safe way to navigate the obstacles on an agility
course.
Recommended ages: 1 year and older
Prerequisites: Beginning Obedience
Class size limited
Advanced Agility
Once you have learned the obstacles you will learn how to sequence a course
and how to control your dog on the course to ensure proper entrances and
exits on the contact obstacles.

Competitive Agility
At this level you will be taught how to plan your strategy to run a successful
course, and learn the rules and regulations for agility competition.
